Organic Food
Food is the cause and food is the cure for most of the diseases, It is rightly said that every time we eat or drink we have a chance to either nourish our body or either feeding a disease. Our grandparents and even our parents always emphasize eating whole and raw fruits and vegetables straight from the farm reason being they know that those fruits and vegetables are filled with the goodness of nature and are also nutritious and free from any pesticides.
Why choose organic food?
The answer to this question is simple, The term “organic” refers to the way agricultural products are grown and processed. Organic means Non-GMO ( Genetically modified organisms) which implies that the crop should be grown without the use of synthetic herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers, or bio-engineered genes (GMOs). Chemicals and pesticides used during farming cannot be washed, cooked, or peeled even after, While in organic farming natural fertilizers are used for the growth of the crop.
And not only this Organic farming increases the biodiversity by 30% when compared to commercial farming. The way your food is grown can majorly impact your internal as well as your external health. Organically grown food is rich in antioxidants and other vitamins and minerals as compared to those which are grown commercially. Organic food is fresher as it doesn’t contain preservatives that make it last longer. Organic produce is mostly produced on smaller farms nearer to where it is sold. Apart from nutrition, the mineral and sugar structures in organic foods are palatable because the crops are given more time to develop and mature. The use of natural and environmentally friendly agricultural production techniques is revealed to be the reason for the better taste in organic food products. It is commonly reported that the taste of organic vegetables and fruits is of higher quality compared to those that are conventionally grown.
